A gem from the Shan state in Burma known for its delicious cuisine, our vegan chickpea tofu is truly one of a kind, made in-house from gram flour. Chickpea tofu is healthy, delicious and a great source of protein. When tossed in our tangy, flavourful tamarind sauce with garlic and peppers, you get a melt in mouth dish, which is super soft and coated with flavour in every bite.

DIY Notes:
Cooking Time: 12 minutes
Serves: 3 to 4
Things Required At Home: Wok, Non stick pan, Oil for frying, Serving platter

Cooking Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a pan & deep fry the tofu to golden.
2. Heat 1 tbsp oil & sauté the diced onion & peppers in a wok or pan.
3. Add in the chilli tangy sauce once the onions turn translucent. Make sure the onions don't turn too soft prior to adding the sauce.
4. Add tofu to this sauce & toss on a high flame for about 30 secs.
5 . Empty the preparation in a serving platter, garnish it with spring onion, serve hot.

Chefs Tip: Fry the tofu to a nice golden color & serve immediately after tossing it in sauce
